A Quick Guide on How to Get Rid of Intruder Spirits, Pranksters, Tricksters, Annoying Unbound Spirits

I am adding here some content that used to be offered on Angelika Magick Etsy shop for a small price. I am making it available for all here, as this is a topic which is quite common and a problematic that is often encountered by those who deal with the metaphysics and especially by spirit keepers. This is not an ultimate list of suggestions but a starting point. There are many other ways to get rid of annoying energies and spirits, here we list the ones that usually work.

So you have an intruder spirit, a prankster or a trickster and they are annoying and won't leave. It is very frustrating when intruders, pranksters or tricksters are around, as a spirit keeper you want to be able to connect with your spirits without external disturbances.

First thing to do is not to worry and not to try to obsessively fight the intruder back, the more you put energy in this the more they will get energy from you and remain. Also do not be scared the intruder will hurt your spirits, as the binding you get from Angelika Magick come with a protection spell to protect the spirit companions against external
magick or spirits wanting to harm the spirit.

Note! If you have asked your protective spirits to banish the intruder and it did not work there is a reason for this that few know about. How it works with protection spirits and spirit companions in general is so that they can banish intruders and protect the keeper, but if the keeper is scared and continues worrying or thinking of a specific annoying
spirit, they will attract the being back by the act of thinking of them and the companions will need to work hard again to banish the intruder. It is possible that your spirits have already banished the intruder but they keep on returning as you still entertain them by thinking of them (even at a subconscious level) or by being scared. Ultimately the power to protect and banish resides in the keeper first, protection is a collaboration effort between protective spirits and the keeper.

So what to do to get rid of the intruder?

There are many ways to get rid of an intruder spirit! I will describe some of them below.
In this kind of situations where an intruder won't leave even with protection spirits helping you, I suggest to take a break from contacting spirits, couple of days is ok or more if you feel you need more days, your companions won't be offended as they are aware you are trying to get rid of an intruder, they will be waiting for you. This break will help weakening the negative energy the intruder has created. Focus on something else, do what you love, relax and enjoy your life.

Do a cleansing of your house and yourself with palo santo or sage smudging or use any kind of cleansing technique you already know that feels comfortable to you. You may want to use a glass of water with sea salt inside and place it in each one of your rooms, this will absorb any negative charge in the house. Leave the glass couple of hours and then dispose of the water into the sink. Remember to cleanse your hands if you have touched the water which absorbed the negative energy and of course wash well the glass before using it again.

Ask any Being you have complete trust in to help you remove the spirit. There are many beings who can support you apart from the spirit companions. The only rule is that you must trust this being who is going to remove the intruder for you! It can be a God/Goddess an ascended master, anyone you trust!

You can also cast a banishing spell if you know how to do that or simply command the spirit to leave you alone and go back to their realm, as their presence in your life has not been requested and that they should leave in peace.

Another important step is to protect yourself anytime you connect with spirits. You can cast protection circles or protection spells or use a spelled amulet. You can also use a combo of all those. When you do spirit work you should always protect yourself. This will minimize the threats from intruders.

When all these steps have been done and you feel the negative energy has been cleared out, connect again with your spirits and know the intruder has gone as they have zero chances against your will and the will of the powerful beings you asked help from!

What if the intruder does not leave after doing all what suggested above?

If all the above steps fail and you have already gone through the banishing process couple of times, there are chances you are dealing with a thought form not with an intruder spirit. This can happen, as the subconscious mind can create energy entities that do not really exist at times. It is tricky to fully understand how the subconscious mind works, it can create thought forms, as much as it can create nightmares. If a thought form has been created the only way out is to deconstruct it realizing it is a thought form and letting it go. Ignore it and think it has no power as it is just a form made of subconscious material.

Another important thing to consider is that sometimes unbound spirits visit us, they might feel scary to us but they actually do not mean anything wrong. One needs to understand if the being is truly malevolent or not before panicking, most of the time the being is not malevolent and just curious or wants attention for some reason, they can be a past life connection, a spirit wanting to become your guide or they can be another type of non-malevolent spirit.

Just know that the chances of meeting a truly malevolent spirit are very few, unless one works with very dark magick aka black magick or willingly summon malevolent spirits or indulge in malevolent acts! Usually these visitors are harmless and mostly they leave if ignored or asked to leave or they are not spirits but thought forms. If you think you
want to get rid of the intruder anyway the above steps should be enough.
